With millions of manufacturing workers expected to retire in the next few years, the Z generation and Millennials will need to fill these positions. As these workers have been entering the hiring pool, employers are discovering that the next generation of workers learns quite differently than they did. Manufacturers need to leverage their key characteristics, implement new learning and development programs that align to the way these generations learn and rethink policies that will not only help attract but also retain these generations.
Denise Ball, Workforce Development Specialist, Tooling U-SME, will facilitate the discussion on the Z & Millennial generations.
