About Us

Located along the scenic Sandusky River, this mill, built in 1861, houses the nation's first educational museum of milling. Called the ''Indian Mill'' because its predecessor was built for the Wyandot Indians by the U.S> Government, the mill was built seduced by steel rods and bolts forged on site. The steel bridge crossing the river to the park was restored in 2015. The dam also has been restored for authenticity. New displays and educational exhibits are a new addition for your visit.
