About Us

Located in the Normandy style McConnell mansion, the museum has one of the largest collections of Indian artifacts in the State of Ohio, a military display and the McCutchen Overland Inn.

The MucCutchen Overland Inn was an 1829 stagecoach inn, this historic site has been preserved and furnished just as it looked when it was an important stop on the old Harrison Trail. Located on State Route 53 in McCutchenville, Ohio.

Did you know that the first Wyandot County Courthouse was actually the former Wyandot Indian Council House? The building was constructed about 1818 when the Wyandottes moved their Council House from Upper Sandusky (now known then as Cranetown) to the present site of Upper Sandusky following Chief Tarhe's death.
