Stepping Stones Park

About Us

With its tranquil wooded setting, is located along the Sandusky River close to the old stepping stones used in earlier days to cross the river. With its mile of trail this is a favorite ''walk park'' for many residents in good and not so good weather, from early morning hours to late evening. Three gazebos provide shelter and are often reserved for weddings, meetings and special occasions. At times, deer are known to frequent the park. Cross the Sansusky River via the Veterans Bridge, view the stepping stones to the south. Ahead find a small grassy plain with an extension of the walking trail along the east side of the river. Find a bench or swing on either side of the river. Sit. Enjoy the peace of nature at its best.
