About Us

This historical site is operated by John Stewart United Methodist Church, this is the site of the first Methodist Mission in North America, now a UMC National Shrine. ''Old Mission'' is located in Mission Cemetery in which are buried many early pioneers and early Indian Christian converts; also site of the ''famous'' February 31st headstone.
